Talscent has partnered with ChiYoWo to support one of our key missions, spreading light.
We use a percentage of our profit to support a variety of initiatives throughout the year. The aim of these initiatives are to empower Children, Youth and Women in Nigeria. We have helped facilitate workshops and donated a variety of goods to Women and Schools in Nigeria, with the help our our amazing volunteer team over at ChiYoWo.

Fun fact: The Founder of ChiYoWo is the Mother of the Founder of Talscent, which allows us to work very closely with the team, ensuring we find the best way to ensure light is being spread all year round!

Christmas & New Year: Source of Light

Gifting with a purpose at Talscent – All gift purchases provide a portable solar light source to a young child from Master's Mind led School in Ikorodu Lagos State Nigeria this Christmas! (In partnership with ChiYoWo Empowerment Initiative).

3 Day Skills Training Empowerment Programme
Our Partners met with the young women which led to devising and teaching practical ways of starting a business and income generation locally! Participants were provided the skills and tools required to start their own pastry business!
The 3 day Summer Programme offered a group of Young Women in Ikorodu to undergo practical sessions on how to make and sell pastries locally to help generate additional income! This also included fundamental classes learning the business fundamentals, marketing and packaging.
